Letters to the Next President

The book of Genesis is all about new beginnings. Think about it. The beginning of time, history, human life, nations, temptation, sin, salvation, the universe, and so much more.
There comes a time in everyone's life that you need a new beginning. A fresh start! In Scripture, King David was one such man. Although he was one of the greatest kings in history, there came a time in his life according to Psalm 51 that he came to the end of all hope because of his sin against God. He needed a fresh new beginning. Verse 10 declares, "God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life. Don't throw me out with the trash".

We all know what the original Genesis week looked like according to Genesis. David new the account of creation well. Now he wants a Genesis week to happen in his life. But what would a Genesis week look like in my life today?

In this most important message, we will see that Genesis is all about what God can do with nothing. He can always take nothing and make something special. God specializes in nothingness.
