PAST SERMONS
When you stop to consider that God is infinitely strong and can do anything He pleases, and that He is infinitely good, wise, and always knows what is perfectly right and good, and that He is always infinitely loving towards us, how do we explain the fact that prayerlessness remains one of the greatest tragedies in the church today?
When we either refuse to pray or simply neglect prayer, it is like God sending us an invitation to attend a great banquet in His honor and we in turn send a note back to Him saying that we cannot attend because of our busy schedules. How sad!
We all know that God desires for us to pray. He longs for us to communicate with Him and He loves to communicate with us. Basically, He wants us to "Just Ask".
In this four-part message series during our February month of prayer emphasis, we will discover that God wants us to "Ask Big", "Ask Boldly", "Ask Often, Ask Consistently, and to Ask Continually". We will also examine why God sometimes says "Yes" to our prayers, sometimes He says "No" to our prayers, and sometimes He says, "Not now" to our prayers.
